Tarot Card Of The Week

Seven of Coins: With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility

Monday, November 26, 2018 - Sunday, December 2, 2018

Seven of Coins

The Seven of Coins indicates that the fruits of our labor are ready to be harvested. All of our hard work is paying off now and we are finally open to entering a bigger and brighter future. However, it is important for us to remain humble during this time of manifesting abundance. We have a choice on how we view the material world that comes with the success we find. We must find a balance between enjoying materialistic abundance and remaining true to our inner self. Enjoy the riches of the material world without allowing that world to rule you.

Keywords of this card include: fruits of labor, disappointment, reevaluation, misery, slavery, necessity.

With Mercury in retrograde this week until Saturday, December 1st, we should spend more time planning rather than taking any action. If we can utilize our time with such planning, we will have ourselves ready to push forward with our plans by Saturday. We have plenty of encouragement and inspiration to drive us to take action, but until Mercury is direct again on Saturday, miscommunication and delays are still abound. Our lives are already hectic and things are about to become a lot busier, especially once Mars enters Aries on Monday, December 31st, just in time to ring in the new year! By spending time visualizing our game plan and putting the pieces in place, we will be able to act intuitively and with confidence instead of acting with hesitation due to uncertainty. Get your game plan ready by Saturday and be ready to take on the world!

When you see your success, do you only see financial gain as the outcome? If so, spend some time this week looking at ways your success can help others too. We all want financial stability, but it shouldn’t be our sole purpose. The more we can see how our material wealth can help others as well, the more motivated we will find ourselves into taking action.

This past year we have found ourselves in a profound period of transformation. The world around us is also experiencing such a profound shift. Use this week to think about your place in the world and your relationship with the world around you. The change occurring is a positive shift, yet so many of us can only see the negative. While we must recognize the negative situations that are so tragically entering our lives on a daily basis, we must spend just as much energy focusing on the good we see in this world as well. For every bad news story you see, find a positive story to keep the energy in balance. There is just as much good in the world as there is bad. Focus more on your blessings and see more blessings enter your life.

Abundance is meant to be shared. However, we see far too often a trend of over-consumption and waste as a result of the abundance we are gifted. It’s important to focus on gratitude when we enjoy the fruits of our labor. Remaining humble without guilt and sharing our abundance with others puts us on the right track to helping make the shift of abundance into shared wealth instead of hoarded out of fear of not receiving more. This week, it’s important to contemplate your relationship with our own personal abundance. Make sure to take time to look around at all that you have and give thanks for being as blessed as you are.

Although there is definitely too much focus on the satisfaction of the material world in our society, we should not shut such satisfaction either. From this world can come much good. If we find ourselves in a new leadership position, we must focus our energy on being the change we wish to see in the world and not fear our intentions as being against that of the material world. This week we saw the founder of TOMs give $5 million dollars to organizations dedicated to ending gun violence. Remember, “with great power comes great responsibility.” Visualize the satisfaction of helping others with the success you are achieving. When you visualize your success, do you think about how your success can help others? If not, spend some time thinking about this.

As I often say with my tarot readings, we always have a choice on how we use or don’t use the advice given from the cards. When it comes to our relationship with abundance and material wealth, we also have a choice on how we perceive it in our lives. If we wish for success simply for material abundance, we might find it wise to reassess our intentions before we move forward. Be the change you wish to see and help shift the energy of abundance back where is needs to be, filled with love, compassion, generosity, and fearlessness.

Be kind. Be determined. Be ready for action.
